Celina Carvajal, Jason Wooten & Miranda Set For Broadway Sessions With Ben D 6/9
Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is thrilled to welcome Broadway veterans Celina Carvajal and Jason Wooten June 9th. Also performing this evening will be youtube sensation Miranda.
Celina Carvajal's Broadway credits include Tarzan, Dracula, 42nd Street and Cats. Ms. Carvajal most recently appeared in Rooms at New World Stages. She is perhaps best known for her involvement in MTV's reality program Legally Blonde: The Search for the Next Elle Woods. She is the lead singer of the rock band Cocaine and will be returning to New World Stages this summer in The Toxic Avenger.
Jason Wooten's credits on Broadway include Grease, The Times They are A-Changin', Dance of the Vampires, The Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar and Footloose. Mr. Wooten recently appeared in Rooms at New World Stages.
Miranda (aka comedian Colleen Ballinger)'s unique vocal stylings and innovative videos have earned her legions of fans and earned hundreds of thousands of youtube hits. She has performed at such legendary New York venues as Birdland and Joe's Pub.
Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is described as an evening of music, games and comedy featuring a new Broadway guest each week. It is hosted by actor Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) The show takes place every Tuesday evening at midtown nightclub Therapy (348 west 52nd street) at 11 pm. There is no cover charge for this event.
