Cabaret Cares Returns with DIVAPALOOZA 12 9/28 With Robinson, Holt, Fowler & More

The 2009 MAC and Bistro Award winning cabaret series Cabaret Cares returns in September with DIVAPALOOZA 12. Cabaret Cares is the monthly series created by cabaret Producer Joseph Macchia to raise funds for Broadway Cares and Help Is On The Way Today. Since its start in 2005 Cabaret Cares has raised over $36,000. Broadway Cares is the nations leading industry grant making organization,Help Is On The Way Today was founded by Joseph Macchia to help and assist children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City.

DIVAPALOOZA is a tribute to the great Diva's of Stage and Screen,with a twist the cast are all men. Performing on the 28th of September will be Broadway's Arbendor Robinson (The Little Mermaid,Hair, Ragtime The Revival), Stacey Todd Holt (The Producer's,Cry Baby), Robert Fowler (The Producer's, Dreamgirls, Beauty and The Beast), T. Oliver Reid (Mary Poppins) and from the New York Cabaret community Lennie Watts, David Gurland, Stearns Mathews, John Bronston, Daryl Glenn, David Colbert, and more. The Evening will be hosted by Eric Michael Gillett (MAC and Bistro Award Winner),and Jay Rogers(MAC and Bistro Award Winner).

DIVAPALOOZA September 28th at The Laurie Beechman Theatre 407 West 42nd Street. Doors open at 9:00p.m. Showtime is 9:30 p.m.,there is a $25 Cover Charge and $15 Food/Drink Minimum. To make reservations call 212-695-6909.
