Broadway's Terri White Performs at Feinstein's at the Nikko Tonight

Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Michael Feinstein are thrilled to welcome star of cabaret and Broadway, Terri White, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for one performance only - tonight, February 1, 2014 at 7 p.m. From Blues to Broadway, Terri White has seen it all and lived to tell the tales! Join her as she brings her special brand of charm, humor and powerhouse vocals to the Feinstein's at the Nikko stage for a night of mischief.

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein's at the Nikko by Executive Chef Philippe Striffeler, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

Called a "ferocious knockout" by Variety, Terri White has made the Broadway stage her home since 1978. Broadway credits include Barnum, Ain't Misbehavin', Welcome to the Club (Obie Award), Chicago, the 2009 revival of Finian's Rainbow (Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Nominations, 2010), and, of course, the recent Tony Award-nominated revival of Follies, where she co-starred as Stella Deems! Other theatrical credits include, Nunsense I & II, Nuncrackers, Stepping Out at Radio City with Liza Minnelli, Showboat, Damn Yankees, Bubbling Brown Sugar, Juba, The Jungle Book, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Chicago, And The World Goes 'Round and Little Shop of Horrors (as Audrey 2).

On screen, White was most recently seen in Robin Williams' new CBS show, "The Crazy Ones." She can also be seen in "Nunsense I & II" with Rue McClanahan, "Liza Live at Radio City Music Hall," "Boys on the Side," and "Law and Order: Criminal Intent." Recordings include "Forbidden Broadway 25th Anniversary," "Barnum""Liza Live," "Finian's Rainbow," "Incurably Romantic," and "Follies." White has two albums of her own, "The Lady's Got To Sing" and the recently released "Upon Request."

In addition to her highly acclaimed work on-stage, White has also wowed audiences with her cabaret performances. Recent concerts include Lyrics & Lyricist Johnny Burke at 92nd St. Y,, Joe's Pub with Guy Davis, Jamie deRoy and Friends at Birdland, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Broadway Concert Series at John W. Engeman Theatre, Life is Good at Feinstein's, Terri in Paradise at Waterfront Theatre in Key West, San Carlos Theatre in Key West, Barre Vermont in LA, The Terrace Theatre (Barbara Cook Spotlight Series), Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, The Crest Theatre in Delray Beach, Florida and 54 Below in New York City. Ms. White was recently honored with a 2013 BroadwayWorld.com New York Cabaret Awards for "Best One-Show Special Event" for her star turn in July at 54 Below.

All seating at Feinstein's at the Nikko is cabaret style and available on a first-come, first-served basis within the section purchased. Guests who purchase the prix-fixe dinner at Restaurant Anzu will receive a complimentary section upgrade (subject to availability) and get to choose their exact seat locations within the upgraded section.

Guests of Feinstein's at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko's lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko's intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors. Restaurant Anzu will also offer Feinstein's at the Nikko guests a special three-course prix-fixe dinner ($45 per person) prior to all performances. The two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated Michael Feinstein is considered one of the premier interpreters of American standards. His 200-plus shows a year have included performances at Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl as well as the White House and Buckingham Palace. More than simply a performer, Feinstein has received national recognition for his commitment to celebrating America's popular songbook and preserving its legacy for the next generation.
