"Broadway Rhythm and Booze", a new cabaret series created as a platform to highlight the soulful talents of the Broadway community, will premiere on Monday, May 2nd at Tillman's Bar & Lounge, 165 West 26th Street (between 6th and 7th avenue). Headline talent includes Christopher Jackson (Broadway's In The Heights and Lion King), who recently released his solo album titled, "In The Name of Love" and female powerhouse singers Moya Angela (Effie White, Dreamgirls national tour, Lion King, national tour) and Adrienne Warren (Bring It On and Dreamgirls, national). Doors open at 7pm, performance begins at 8pm. Tickets are $20.00 and available at www.vallinsandmalotke.com or by calling 646-363-6039 (no cover charge).

Evoking the Harlem jazz clubs of yesteryear, this swank Flatiron District lounge pays homage to musical legends and has a reputation for booking the most desirable jazz, hip-hip and Motown acts. Music Director, Steven Jamail has conducted tribute concerts for Chita Rivera, Cyndi Lauper and Queen Latifah and has performed with jazz legend Chick Corea, the Houston Symphony and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. Jamail is joined by Burnt Sugar Arkestra's Jared Nickerson (Bass) and LaFrae Sci (Drums) who will bring each artists classic and contemporary song selections to life.

"The Broadway Rhythm and Booze series is destined to become one of New York's most celebrated showcases for soul music, R&B and live performance," said Nikole Vallins and Natalie Malotke, Producers, N+N Productions. "The stage at Tillman's will give voice to stellar Broadway and emerging artists from around the country, giving them a new outlet to inspire and be inspired. The future of cabaret is dependent upon bringing diverse crowds and the next generation of world-class entertainers together and we hope to continue building upon this unique brand of authentic, intimate and contemporary entertainment."

Tillman's owner, Lesly Bernard, former co-owner of celebrity haunts Clementine and Taj and partner at Pravda, modeled the upscale eatery after a 1970's underground speakeasy. The venue is outfitted in authentic vintage furniture, funky wall designs that depict jazz legends from B.B King to Parliament and boasts a menu known for nine varieties of specialty grilled cheeses. Fan favorites include Brie And Spiced Pear with black truffle butter, French Onion Soup with roasted garlic & herbs, gruyere, caramelized onion compote, Vegan Mozzarella with tofu mozzarella, roasted vegetables and pesto and Smoked Salmon And Cream Cheese with red onion and french capers.

Reservations recommended, running time is one hour. Guests who attend the performance are invited to stay at Tillman's to enjoy dancing and signature classic cocktails.
