The new Broadway-bound musical ONE FOR MY BABY, which features the music of celebrated composer Harold Arlen, will have a special one-night-only abridged version of the show on April 30th at 54 Below.

Led by Tony nominees Vivian Reed and Daniel Jenkins, the cast also features Luba Mason, Kevin Earley, Anneliese Van Der Pol, Julie Tolivar, Danny Gardner, T. Oliver Reed, Carly Hughes and Tari Kelly. Rounding out the ensemble are Barrett Davis, Michael Roberts McKee, Mikki Sodergren and Sydney Ruf-Wong. The event at 54 Below is directed and choreographed by Scott Thompson with music direction by Fred Barton conducting an 10-piece band.

The show is described as such, "It's 1947 and Panama Jones is Queen Diva of the sexiest nightclub in town urging the patrons to smoke a little, drink a lot and dance till dawn! A bluesy melodramatic tale of lust, love and greed, ONE FOR MY BABY is set to a soaring Harold Arlen score. The book of the show is written by Fred Barton and Scott Thompson."

He wrote some of the greatest hits of the 20th Century many of which are featured in ONE FOR MY BABY and have been given an amazing 21st century re-arrangement and re-orchestration. ONE FOR MY BABY features more than 20 of Arlen's songs including Stormy Weather, The Man That Got Away, Blues In The Night, Get Happy, I've Got The World On A String, That Old Black Magic, Down With Love and more than a dozen others.
