Celebrated cabaret performer Jamie deRoy presents a special evening of her Multi-MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie de Roy & Friends on Sunday, February 28th at 6pm at the famed New York music room Birdland (315 West 44th Street) with an evening of songs from Academy Award®-winning Films. This event is part of the long-running Broadway at Birdland concert series.
Joining Jamie onstage will be: Drama Desk Winner and four-time Tony-nominee Gregg Edelman (1776, Into the Woods, Anna Karenina, City of Angels), London's beloved triple-threat performer Bonnie Langford (Chicago-NYC and London companies), and Drama Desk Award-nominee Christina Bianco (Newsical, Forbidden Broadway Goes to Rehab). Award-winning director Barry Kleinbort will direct and Lanny Meyers will serve as musical director.
