Ben Vereen to Take the Stage at Dizzy's Club for 8 Performances

Ben Vereen, star of stage, screen and television, will bring an exciting show to Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Broadway and 60th Street, 5th Floor for a special four nights, April 4th through April 7th, 2019. Two shows each night at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

Vereen will bring his exciting group of top musicians for this show where he also will be joined by The Juilliard Jazz Ensemble. Vereen said "Thanks so much to my pal Wynton Marsalis for allowing me the opportunity of working with the young stars of tomorrow, The Juilliard Jazz Ensemble. My show at Dizzy's is a tribute to friends, peers and people whose talents have influenced me through the artistry of big band musicians."

From his magical performances in Pippin, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweet Charity and Wicked to groundbreaking roles in numerous tv and film including "Roots", his legacy as Broadway's song and dance man and consumate actor has remained throughout his career. Now into his 70's, he is going stronger than ever. Recent television roles have included "Bull", "Magnum PI" and currently a star turn on the Lee Daniel's Fox TV series "Star".

Don't miss An Evening with Ben Vereen has the master of entertainment takes the stage for the first time at Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Performances are April 4th through 7th at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm nightly. Cover charge is $45 Thursday through Saturday at $35 on Sunday. Student tickets are available at $25.
