Now more than ever this country needs a gay male comic that's as raw and real as Richard Pryor or Chris Rock . . . Billy Eichner, the creator and star of the critically acclaimed comedy hit Creation Nation, steps up with Billy Eichner: GAY, WHITE AND TERRIFIED! his first ever solo show. In Billy Eichner: GAY, WHITE AND TERRIFIED!, Eichner will unleash his comic fury on closeted stars, hypocritical black Presidents, and the state of Facebook in a post-racial America.

An explosive evening of original comedy and music, Billy Eichner: GAY, WHITE AND TERRIFIED! is directed by Benjamin Salka and has production design by Richard Dibella. The show will make its debut at Joe's Pub, 425 Lafayette Street, playing four performances on Monday May 25, Monday June 1, Monday June 8 and Friday June 12. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.00 and are on sale now.

Billy Eichner is the star, writer, and co-creator of Creation Nation: A Live Talk Show. A variety show with comedy sketches, stand-up, original musical numbers, filmed segments and live interviews with celebrity guests, Creation Nation was hailed by The New York Times as a "late night theatrical phenomenon" and received a NY Nightlife Award winner for Best Comedy Performance. The show's infamous celebrity interviews (which include Cynthia Nixon, TR Knight, Hayden Panettierre, Joan Rivers and others) earned Eichner coverage in The New York Post's Page Six and on "Access Hollywood," among other major media outlets. Creation Nation has played regularly in New York City since 2004, and has also been performed in Los Angeles, in Miami as part of Comedy Central's South Beach Comedy Festival, in Aspen as part of the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival, and in Scotland as part of the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe. Mr. Eichner was the star and writer of Bravo-TV's first scripted webseries, "My Life on the Z List: Jen's Vlog," and last year he was seen starring in comedy segments on Bravo's "A-List Awards" with Kathy Griffin, and co-hosting Bravo's "A-List Awards Red Carpet Show" with Tim Gunn. He is currently writing for the upcoming third season of Logo TV's "Big Gay Sketch Show" and was nominated in the "Brink of Fame: Comic" category for Logo's 2008 NewNowNext Awards. He has received Time Out New York's Critic's Award as well as their "Biggest Industry Darling" Award. Billy's other film/television credits include What Happens in Vegas, "The Showbiz Show with David Spade," "Best Week Ever," "The Nighttime Clap" and "Munchies" on Fuse. He is currently co-creating, co-producing and starring in a new cutting edge game show pilot produced by Picture This TV, two time Emmy Award winning producers of "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List." He is a graduate of Northwestern University and Stuyvesant High School in NYC.
