Ars Nova presents two upcoming shows for the month of August, Katie Schorr: Did I Do That? and Story Pirates AfterDark.

Katie Schorr: Did I Do That? (And Yes, She Did.) will be on Thursday, August 27 @ 8PM. Tickets cost $15.

You know how it is. You go to your first Fraternity Formal in Windsor (Canada!), and parts of your life flash before your eyes: The Steve Urkel impression you did at the 3rd grade Talent Show. The bucket baths you took when you lived on the Haitian border of the Dominican Republic. Also, the pee bowl you had to keep under the bed. Jamaica. Where you met Nate. Your date. Whose pants are now on the floor. You better start dancing. Now! Join Katie Schorr on this hilarious journey through the mishaps, embarrassments and occasional triumphs of the long road to (pseudo) adulthood.

Story Pirates AfterDark comes to Ars Nova on August 28 @ 8PM. Ticket Price is $15.

At a typical Story Pirates show, story topics run the gamut, from the shame of chronic bedwetting to the eternal love between the devil and a guy she meets at Starbucks. While most of their wildly popular performances are family friendly, these two Adults Only shows apply grownup language and concepts to the group's trademark student-provided stories. The Story Pirates have blown the minds of 100,000 Second Graders. You're next.
