Alexandra Socha to Make Feinstein's/54 Below Debut with FINDING HOME

By:

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Alexandra Socha in Finding Home on June 28, 2017.

Join Alexandra Socha for an evening of story through song, in which Alexandra lets the audience into her innermost thoughts as she wrestles with her relationship to the theatre and performing; what it meant to her growing up, when it changed, how it got lost, and why she decided to rebuild. With an eclectic mix of music from classic Broadway to bluegrass and an acoustic folk sound throughout, Alexandra makes her Feinstein's/54 Below debut with a story she is finally ready to share.

Music directed by Adam Ben-David, and directed by Eric Michael Gillett, Alexandra Socha in Finding Home plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on June 28th at 9:30pm. There is a $30-$40 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00 are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

At 17 years old, Alexandra Socha was chosen from an open call in Boston to join the Broadway cast of the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening. Originally appearing in the ensemble, less than a year later she stepped into the role of Wendla, which she played until the show's close. She also appeared in the famously short-lived revival of Brighton Beach Memoirs as well as the Off-Broadway productions of The Dream of The Burning Boy (Drama League Nomination), Death Takes A Holiday, and Fun Home at The Public Theatre (Lucille Lortel Nomination/Best Actress in a Musical.) She has sung in concert at The Kennedy Center and with The Young People's Chorus of New York at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Her television credits include recurring roles on Damages opposite Glenn Close, The Big C, and Royal Pains. Most recently, she can be seen on the Amazon Original Series Red Oaks as Skye, the privileged art student daughter of Paul Reiser's club president, having had the opportunity through that show to work with such great directors as David Gordon Green, Amy Heckerling, & Hal Hartley.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, is a performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife. A few blocks from the heart of Times Square and just below the legendary Studio 54, Feinstein's/54 Below is a classically designed state-of-the art nightclub in the theatre district that hosts audiences with warmth and style. Feinstein's/54 Below presents iconic and rising stars from the worlds of Broadway and popular music and has set a new standard for culinary excellence worthy of the world-class entertainment on the stage. Located at 254 West 54th Street, Feinstein's/54 Below features up to three shows nightly with cover charges ranging from $5-$105.
