North Lake Tahoe Reveals 5 Reasons to Visit this Autumn

Lake Tahoe locals know that autumn is one of the best times to enjoy all that the region has to offer. It is recognized as the area's "secret season" because summer visitor traffic has tapered off, the weather allows for outings on the lake, hiking and mountain biking adventures to continue, and local businesses have more time to reconnect with off-season visitors before the start of winter. This fall, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe is offering visitors even more to do when they plan a trip to North Lake Tahoe. The top five reasons to visit the North Lake Tahoe hotel this include:

1. NEW 'FALL HARVEST' EVENTS
On Saturday, October 19, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe will host new events celebrating the change of season including a pumpkin patch in the woods and a special Harvest Beer Dinner in Manzanita. Resort and local guests are invited to bring their families to enjoy fall-themed activities including a candy apple bar, hot cider tasting and pumpkin painting in the backyard of the resort from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Harvest Beer Dinner will take place in Manzanita, the resort's signature Lake Tahoe restaurant from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and feature a three-course dinner inspired by fall with select pairings of seasonal beers.
