DoubleTree by Hilton Sweetens Travel for Mardi Gras Visitors in New Orleans

DoubleTree by Hilton will delight unsuspecting passengers arriving in The Big Easy for Mardi Gras by surprising them with "Cookie Care" on Friday, February 13 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Hotel team members will help kick-off Carnival festivities for travelers arriving at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport by handing out thousands of the brand's iconic chocolate chip cookies at baggage claim - all in hopes of making their travel a little sweeter. The event is part of DoubleTree by Hilton's global Cookie Care program, which celebrates the brand's global commitment to delivering the "little things" that enhance a guest's travel experience.

DoubleTree by Hilton will be celebrating Carnival in New Orleans by:

• Surprising travelers picking up their luggage at airport baggage claim with thousands of DoubleTree by Hilton's signature chocolate chip cookies from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Making a special cookie delivery to Chateau Living Center, local charity partner of one of the DoubleTree by Hilton properties in New Orleans
• Inviting everyone to join the conversation and celebrate along by using #CookieCare on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (@DoubleTree). We will surprise some lucky fans with special Cookie Care packages packed with Mardi Gras and New Orleans-themed goodies and, of course, our famous chocolate chip cookies!
