Amusement Park? Check. Water Park? Check. Live shows? Check. Family-friendly lodging? Check. With the August long weekend approaching, Canadians look no further for fun than the multi-amusement and entertainment experience that is DARIEN LAKE. Currently celebrating its 50th season as Destination Fun, DARIEN LAKE has always celebrated their neighbours to the North with Canadians accounting for over 25% of their annual attendance. In July 2013 alone, Canadians made up over 60% of the Park's attendance.
For 50 years, Canadians have flocked to DARIEN LAKE for unique summer getaways that offer FREE park admission with all overnight accommodation bookings, providing families and friends with the ultimate 'Stay and Play' experience, on an affordable dime. Fun is right over the bridge. DARIEN LAKE is only a 50-minute drive from Niagara Falls' Rainbow Bridge and Queenston's Lewiston-Queenston bridge, and a 40-minute drive from Fort Erie's Peace Bridge. The 2013 season welcomes the return of its ever-popular Glamping sites, a trend popping up nationwide that fuses the basics of camping with the ease and glamour of a hotel, allowing people to rough it outside under the stars without ever pitching a tent. Other outdoor accommodations include 57 modern lakeside cabins, 283 furnished RV campsites and 650 traditional campsites. DARIEN LAKE also welcomes the addition of six new, fully furnished Guest Houses complete with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, TV, fireplace, and air conditioning, all within walking distance to the park. And for those who prefer full-service lodging including housekeeping (it is a vacation, after all), the Lodge on the Lake Hotel comes complete with free WiFi, large air-conditioned rooms, flat-screen TVs with cable, complimentary coffee, an outdoor heated swimming pool, game room, gift shop, and lakeside benches.Videos
