With the August long weekend approaching, Canadians look no further for fun than the multi-amusement and entertainment experience that is DARIEN LAKE. The 2013 season welcomes the return of its ever-popular Glamping sites, a trend popping up nationwide that fuses the basics of camping with the ease and glamour of a hotel, allowing people to rough it outside under the stars without ever pitching a tent. And for those who prefer full-service lodging including housekeeping (it is a vacation, after all), the Lodge on the Lake Hotel comes complete with free WiFi, large air-conditioned rooms, flat-screen TVs with cable, complimentary coffee, an outdoor heated swimming pool, game room, gift shop, and lakeside benches.
