Boyd Gaming to Sponsor Las Vegas Elks Helldorado Days, 5/14-17

Boyd Gaming returns as sponsor of the Las Vegas Elks Helldorado Days on May 14-17. The California Hotel and Casino and Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel will serve as exclusive host hotels for the Wild West Weekend-offering food and beverage specials and hosting the annual Whiskerino Contest.

Helldorado Rodeo - May 14-17
The rodeo grounds are located at Symphony Park Avenue and Grand Central Parkway. Doors open for the rodeo at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 14; Friday, May 15; and Saturday, May 16; the rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. each night. Doors open at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, and the rodeo begins at 5 p.m.

B Connected members can show their card at the box office to get $5 off adult tickets for general admission seating. This discount can't be used with other offers or discounts, and cannot be honored for tickets already purchased.

Whiskerino Contest
A Helldorado Days tradition since inception, the Whiskerino Contest will be held at Pullman Grille inside Main Street Station on Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. Whether entrants sport a full beard, mutton chops, goatee or handlebar moustache, there is a fitting category for contestants to enter to showcase their extravagant facial locks.

Categories for the Whiskerino Contest include: longest beard, best groomed beard, most unique beard, longest moustache, best moustache, best goatee, best overall and audience favorite.

Whiskerino contestants are encouraged to dress up in western, pioneer, cowboy or attire from the 1880s. For contest rules, criteria and registration, visit www.elkshelldorado.com/events/whiskerino-contest.

Food & Beverage Deals
Triple 7 Restaurant & Microbrewery, located inside Main Street Station, will offer a special "Helldorado Shootout Burger" ($6.99, available 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.) - a juicy burger topped with Jack Daniel's Whiskey barbecue sauce and "Whiskerino" onions. A signature Triple 7 brew can be added for $2.

Tony Roma's, located inside the Fremont Hotel Casino, will offer a meal that is sure to satisfy the hungriest of cowboys. Aptly named the "Hungry Cowboy's Dinner" ($23), the hearty meal includes a 16-ounce rib eye steak, baked potato and green beans, along with a small salad. Diners 21 and older will receive a complimentary draft beer with the purchase of the special.
