Royal Opera House Announces Simulcasts

The Royal Opera House in London has announced that part of its 2013-14 season will be simulcast in more than 500 film theaters in the United States.

Puccini's "Turandot" begins οn Oct. 24 and 27. Puccini's "Tosca" will be presented on Nov. 7 and 10, and Verdi's "Vêpres Siciliennes" οn Dec. 5 and 8. Alsoin the lineup is Wagner's "Parisfal" (Jan. 9 and 12); Puccini's "Bohèm" (Feb. 6 and 9) and "Manon Lescaut" (July 17 and 20); Mozart's "Don Giovanni" (March thirteen and 16); Verdi's "Nabucco" (April 3 and 6) and "La Traviata" (March 8 and 11).
