Lyric Opera of Chicago Presents ITZHAK PERLMAN IN RECITAL, 4/23

Lyric Opera of Chicago presents violin virtuoso Itzhak Perlman in a program of masterpieces by Vivaldi, Beethoven, Schumann, and Ravel. Perlman will be accompanied by pianist Rohan De Silva on Sunday, April 23 at Lyric's Civic Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. The audience will be able to savor every aspect of Perlman's performance thanks to large-screen video enhancement. The Chicago Tribune has called him "one of the commanding talents of our time, able to reach an audience with his first note and hold ears and hearts indefinitely thereafter," while The New York Times has declared, "Itzhak Perlman aims to please and never misses." This is the only opportunity to experience this legendary violinist in a Chicago-area performance this season. Perlman's previous recital at Lyric (Spring 2014) sold out.
