Plácido Domingo took time out from his busy rehearsal schedule at the Metropolitan Opera to catch the hit new comic opera ¡Figario! (90210) at the Duke on 42nd Street.
Domingo met with the cast and gave the show a rave review. With Mozart's original score and a new English (and Spanglish) libretto by Vid Guerrerio, ¡Figario! (90210) reimagines the leading characters as undocumented Mexican immigrants who work in a Beverly Hills mansion. A cross between musical theater and opera ¡Figaro!
