BIO:
Flux Pavilion Biography Flux Pavilion, born Joshua Steele in Towsester, UK, is an English Dubstep DJ and producer. Born in 1989, the young artist is also known as Bubbles and Josh Extravaganza. Steele is also the drummer of Indie Rock band Real Rabbitzkin. He feels that his Dubstep recordings as Flux Pavilion are an expression of the dark and poetic aspects of his nature. Flux Pavilion, alongside Doctor P, Dyspro and DJ Swan-E, founded the record label Circus Records. In 2009, he released EP Boom, with Datsik and Excision. A year later, Lines in Wax was dropped. Flux Pavilion‘s popular single “Bass Cannon,” released in 2011, ranked number 56 on the UK Singles Chart and was placed on Radio 1. His next single, “Superbad,” did almost as well, peaking at number 61. Four of his own tracks are on the compilation record Circus One , in which he co-released with Doctor P. His song “I Can’t Stop” has been sampled by Jay-Z and Kanye West, giving the London Dubstep scene a sudden onslaught of visibility in the United States. The single would later be featured in the Kony 2012 viral campagin. Flux Pavilion‘s wave of success in 2011 was capped with the December announcement of his nomination for the BBC’s Sound of 2012 poll. This year, Steele produced Sway‘s single hit “Level Up.”
