White Iris Records is set to release rising Los Angeles world-infused psych-pop group Incan Abraham's Tuolumne/Whidbey today, August 6. The lead track "Tuolumne" is streaming now at SPIN: http://go.spin.com/16qGLzI.

Notable for their penchant for African polyrhythms and rising profile across the west coast, the group teamed up with White Iris' likeminded Lewis Pesacov (Best Coast, Fool's Gold, Foreign Born) as well as Clinton Welander (Jimmy Cliff) to produce the new release. Tuolumne/Whidbey follows on the heels of Incan Abraham's 2012 Springhouse EP, about which Pitchfork raved "[you] get the feeling from Springhouse that they've...learned the right lessons about rhythmic elasticity, textural curiosity and instrumental democracy."

White Iris Records is the label arm of Black Iris Music, an LA-based creative incubator. Together, White Iris and Black Iris form an award-winning creative music production company, a critically acclaimed record label and a trusted consultancy platform for brands.
