Grammy Award-winning hitmaker RedOne releases his debut solo single - "Don't You Need Somebody" - globally today via Warner Bros. Records. The bouncy, island-tinged pop track, which is available from all digital retailers, features Enrique Iglesias, R. City, Serayah, and Shaggy.

A multi-platinum-selling producer for two decades, RedOne has enlisted some of his celebrity friends to be featured in an unofficial music video for the song. Watch a teaser for the clip HERE.

Known primarily as a producer, musician and songwriter, RedOne signed as a solo artist with Warner Bros. Records earlier this year. Over the course of his career, he has become one of the most successful and sought-after record producers and songwriters in the world, racking more than 80 hit songs and 40 #1 singles. He has worked with artists ranging from U2 to One Direction, crafted game-changing hits for Lady Gaga, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Nicki Minaj, Usher, and Jennifer Lopez along with charity projects like "We Are The World 25 for Haiti".

"The reason I chose to become a producer in the first place was being able to explore the sheer number of ideas and musical styles I had," RedOne says. "It enabled me to work with artists in all different genres. I thought that to be a performer, you had to stick to a single sound, and I loved too many kinds of music to do that. But now I find myself wanting to get back to singing and playing, and friends like Enrique have encouraged me to do so. I want to be an artist in a new way, rather than the traditional one. I'm going to do it the RedOne way, which is creating different sounds with different people, doing the records I want to do."
