Jacob Lee Releases First New Track of 2019

Jacob Lee has released his first new track for 2019 - "Conscience" - via Philosophical Records - available now on your preferred streaming service. Lee is also thrilled to return to the US for a headlining tour this Summer. Kicking off in Atlanta on July 13th, he has dates set at NYC'sMercury Lounge on July 17th and LA's Hotel Café on July 31st with more shows set in Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, and San Francisco. "Conscience" is the first track from the independent musician's second album due out later this year. Lee describes "Conscience" as a "deep personal journey to the centre of his thoughts" and "a musical tapestry of contemplation, observation, questioning and hope." Audio samples were gathered as voice-memos, including one of yak bells recorded in the region around Mt. Everest, and brought to the artist's studio in Australia where they combine to create the song's unique atmosphere.

"Conscience" follows Lee's incredible success with 2018 debut album Philosophy, which helped Lee grow his audience to over 1.25 Million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 120 Million streams across all platforms.

Based in Queensland, Lee has grown his tight knit yet global audience over the last few years, completely under the radar of the mainstream. His soaring voice, and spiritually open lyrics have seen him amass over 320,000 subscribers on YouTube. Independently released EP's Sine Qua Non (2016) and Clarity (2017) along with his debut album Philosophy helped him climb to a total of over 60 million Spotify streams. Lee recently completed his first headline tour of the UK and Europe, with shows selling out within days of announcement and demand to move into larger venues.
