Imagem Music, home to such talent as Ludacris, Phil Collins, Genesis, Anna Nalick, Steve Robson, Jens Gad and The Temper Trap, has signed a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing agreement with writer/producer Angel "Onhel" Aponte.

Aponte's most recent work can be heard on the new, chart-topping Lil Wayne album THA CARTER IV. Aponte began his career as an engineer at Sony Music Studios, NY, where he began working with artists such as Swizz Beatz and Beyoncé. It was after moving to Miami that he began to work with rapper Lil Wayne, among others.

"I'm stoked to have signed with Imagem!" said Aponte. "In the short time that I have been with them, they have already done so much for my career!!! I look forward to ongoing success with this team!"

"Angel is a talented and dedicated producer who is just starting to see the fruits of his hard work with his contribution to THA CARTER IV," noted Imagem Music USA Creative Manager Amanda Schupf. "I know he will grow to be a major force in the industry and we at Imagem are excited to partner with him on this journey!"
