Fragments, the acclaimed show from texts by Samuel Beckett directed by Peter Brook and Marie-Hélène Estienne that features Jos Houben, Kathryn Hunter and Marcello Magni, has added a performance due to popular demand Sunday, December 4, at 1:00pm at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, 450 West 37th Street. Fragments must close December 4 and almost all seats for the scheduled 29 performance engagement have been sold.

Fragments, already internationally acclaimed, is now a critics' pick from both Charles Isherwood in The New York Times and Scott Brown in New York Magazine. Fragments received four out of five starts stars from Time Out and three out of four stars from the New York Post.

"Mr. Brook and Beckett are a seamless match in their reverence for theatrical economy, using minimal means to maximum effect. Mr. Houben and Mr. Magni employ their considerable skills as physical comics. Ms. Hunter is utterly mesmerizing," wrote Mr. Isherwood in The New York Times. The New Yorker said Fragments is "essential for Beckett lovers..."

Fragments assembles the five Beckett shorts: Rough for Theatre I, Rockaby, Act without Words II, Neither and Come and Go. Theatre for a New Audience, in association with Baryshnikov Arts Center, is presenting the New York premiere of C.I.C.T. / Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord's Fragments, which opened November 13 for a limited engagement that must end December 4.
