Cozmic Rings In The New Year With 'Worth The Wait'

Brooklyn and Venice Beach native, Cozmic has been making waves in the urban electro-pop scene over the past few months with recent singles going viral on social media, critical acclaim in the indie music blogs and a recent deal with Kobalt Music's AWAL. His latest single, Worth The Wait, artfully fuses tremolo guitars and an 808 driven hip-hop beat with smooth, heartfelt vocals resulting in a sound that's unique while still swimming in the lanes of current artists like Post Malone, Zayn and The Weeknd. Based on the true story of Cozmic's best friend, Worth the Wait showcases a softer, lusher side of the artist's voice and pop lyricism. A minimalist arrangement paves the way for Cozmic's melodies, harmonies and infectious hooks to shine through, giving fans a closer listen to the wisdom and story behind his lyrics. The track was co-written by Cozmic and key collaborator Charlie Snyder (Bebe Rexha, Max Schneider, X Ambassadors, Illenium, Gnash..)

Cozmic is the electro-pop music project of vocalist, songwriter, and producer, Niche Tandon. Splitting his time between Venice Beach, California and Brooklyn, New York, Cozmic is on a quest to mine a new strain of pop music. A broadly resonant aesthetic brimming with soulfulness and bold artistry, his music reflects an intersection of a profound inner journey and an eclectic musical trajectory.

Prior to Cozmic, the artist was already an accomplished singer, songwriter, and guitarist, recording and touring with indie pop, EDM, and hip-hop projects. His performance highlights in this realm include appearances at Bonnaroo and The World Culture Festival in India in front of 3 million people. During this chapter of his career, he also collaborated with acclaimed creators such as Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park and legendary indie rock producer Tim O'Heir (The Flaming Lips, Morphine, Dinosaur Jr., All-American Rejects).

His first release, "Back By My Side" is a slice of smoldering pop on the ups and downs of relationships, mulling over that "when is it too late" quandary after a breakup. And to follow up, Cozmic issued a summer anthem with a twist-the breezy and emotive "Not Ready For Summer." His most recent release, "Lady Luck" is an urban electro-funk uptempo track with a groovy bassline and a nod to 80s funk-pop hits, serving as an anthem of hope for tough times.

With smart compositions, a fashion-forward sensibility, and sincere and relatable lyrics, Cozmic is a vehicle to spread stellar connectivity and energy. Cozmic represents a victory of the spirit.
