While fans of Charice eagerly await her much anticipated return to "Glee" in the role of Sunshine Corazon on the show's upcoming "The Night of Neglect" episode, scheduled to air this Tuesday, April 19th (8:00-9:00 ET/PT) on Fox, the 18-year-old international superstar and YouTube sensation is giving fans a taste of her forthcoming Reprise Records CD with three new songs that are scheduled to be released on iTunes in April and May. The first song, "Before It Explodes," recorded in LA, was written by Ari Levine and Bruno Mars and produced by the Smeezingtons. "Louder," the second song to be on iTunes sometime in May, was written by Daniel James, Leah Haywood and Shelly Peiken; produced by Dreamlab.

"I had a fantastic time in the studio recording these songs and can't wait to perform them live for my fans," Charice stated. "It's thrilling to work with so many talented songwriters and producers," she concluded.

In other music news, Charice is a featured vocalist on fellow YouTube sensation Greyson Chance's new single "Waiting Outside the Lines."

In between recording and shooting "Glee" in LA, Charice has been flying back and forth to Boston where she is also filming the comedy "Here Comes the Boom" starring Kevin James, Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler. The film is directed by Frank Coraci. In the film, James stars as a high school biology teacher who moonlights as a mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to save the school's music program. Charice plays a student at the school.

With a No. 1 song on Billboard's Dance Charts ("Pyramid") last year and a Top Ten debut on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart, Charice has received well over 260 million hits on YouTube and has appeared on several major TV shows including GMA, The Ellen Show, NBC Christmas Tree Lighting and five appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She has dazzled audiences as part of the "David Foster and Friends Tours" and was simultaneously discovered on YouTube by millions of fans including Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey and Foster, a 16-time Grammy winning producer/songwriter who immediately signed her to his 143/Reprise Records. On the international front, Charice's CD was No. 1 in Japan where she has also toured in front of sold out crowds.

Charice also was featured in the "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" film. A native of the Philippines, Charice began her career at age four when her mother, also a singer, began entering her in various singing contests in Southeast Asia. Charice supported her family for the next several years with her prize money.
