Billboard is reporting that Alan Jackson is returning to the land down under for another tour. His last tour there was a surprise hit so Jackson has decided to make another go of it.

Beginning in September, Jackson will play six outdoor and arena shows across the east coast of the country. It will kick off on September 26th at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and is sure to be a success. The tour will also hit the North Queensland Festival on the 28th and there are also shows set at the Allphones Arena in Sydney. Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena and the Deni Ute Muster in New South Wales will also be included on the tour.

Jackson spoke of his love for Australia 'I'd always heard great things about Australia, and everybody was right - it's a beautiful country and the people were really nice...I really enjoyed it, and I'm glad to be going back to play for the folks Down Under who love country music.'

Country music has been a surprise hit in Australia and Jackson is leading the rapidly growing trend there. His March 2011 concerts there sold out in minutes and shocked many with how quickly the music had grabbed a foothold there.
