The Auditorium Theatre Unveils 2026–27 Dance Season

The Auditorium Theatre has announced its 2026–27 dance season, titled “North American Dance,” featuring five companies from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The season will open with a return engagement by Dance Theatre of Harlem, followed by performances from Ballets Jazz Montréal, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Single tickets for all performances will go on sale June 18.

Dance Theatre of Harlem will return to Chicago for the first time in a decade. The company’s program will include a range of classical and contemporary works, including Firebird, choreographed by John Taras with music by Igor Stravinsky.

Ballets Jazz Montréal – Dance Me

Ballets Jazz Montréal will present Dance Me, an evening-length work set to the music of Leonard Cohen. The piece explores themes of love, loss, and renewal through choreography by Andonis Foniadakis, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Ihsan Rustem.
