Tap Soul Productions in collaboration with Acute Inflections presents the one night only, world premiere of the new tap dance musical "Show me the TAP! Show me the SOUL!" at the Helen Mills Theatre, 139 w 26th Street NY, NY 10001 Sunday May 25th at 7PM.

J.L. Williams (FELA!, Cotton Club Parade) leads the musical on a high and powerful journey of self discovery through original song and dance. Elasea Douglas (FELA!, Acute Inflections) co-stars in the role "Love of Singing" with tap dancers Julie Boardman, Cassie Nordgren, Amari Sabb, and Kyle Wilder. The show is produced by Luster Chauncey-Williams and directed and choreographed by Jeffery Chauncey-Williams. Musical direction is under Sadiki Pierre (Acute Inflections) who also plays upright bass with Dan Cake on piano and David Cornejo on drums. The book, music, and lyrics are written by Jeffery and Luster Chauncey-Williams, Sadiki Pierre and Elasea Douglas with additional music and lyrics by Duke Ellington and Rodgers & Hammerstein.

The new tap dance musical is premiering in honor and observance of the 25th Anniversary of National Tap Dance Day and the 136th birthday of tap trailblazer Bill "Bojangles" Robinson. General Admission is $20. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.tapsoulpro.com. Portion of the proceeds will benefit the Actors Fund Organization.
