Laura Ingraham Will Take a Vacation Amid Controversy

Popular Fox News host will take a vacation amidst the controversy she recently caused when mocking Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg on Twitter. According to Variety, Ingraham's vacation was pre-planned.

Hogg is one of the students who spoke out about gun control prominently following the shooting incident at his school. Ingraham tweeted a report stating that Hogg was rejected from four California colleges, and stated that Hogg "whines about" the rejections.

Ingraham apologized the next day on Twitter and invited Hogg to appear on her program. He declined and said he would not accept her apology.

There is no indication at this point that Fox News executives want Ingraham to remain off air, although many advertisers did appear to keep their distance after the controversy occurred.
