Deborah Mason's Cambridge Youth Dance Program's April Performances Will Celebrate 15 years

Celebrating 15 years of artistic excellence, Deborah Mason's Cambridge Youth Dance Company (CYDP) will perform their annual spring concert atBoston University Dance Theater, 915 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston for three performances, April 27 - 28, 2019. The performances will feature choreography and restagings from renowned local and national stars in ballet, jazz, tap dance, modern and contemporary dance. Tickets are $25 plus fees. The program will be both retrospective and current featuring choreography by Deborah Mason, Jenny Oliver, and Jeryl Palana. Highlights this year include ballet variations restaged by Boston Ballet alum Nina Pillar, tap dances set by acclaimed choreographer Derick Grant (Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk), and the unveiling of Chaos by guest choreographer and Alvin Ailey alum Christopher Huggins. Closing the performance is a disco party by master teacher Adrienne Hawkins with a tribute to our fifteen-year ability to keep "stayin' alive."

The versatility of the dancers captivates audiences with an impressive range of styles in the art of ballet, modern dance, character, Broadway, tap, jazz, and drama.
