On Monday, February 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., costumed dancers from Houston Ballet's production of Aladdin will make a special visit to Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers. This month, Houston Ballet will present eight performances of Aladdin at the Wortham Theater Center February 20 - March 2, and the dancers want to bring the magic of the performance to children who may not have the opportunity to see the production. Houston Ballet principal Melody Mennite, principal Joseph Walsh, soloist Nao Kusuzaki, soloist Lauren Strongin, and corps de ballet dancers Katelyn May, Aria Alekzander, and Aaron Sharratt will participate in this event.

This year, dancers from Houston Ballet bring the magic and charm of Aladdin to children at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers. Houston Ballet dancers enjoy visiting the children at other points during the year as well. These visits are part of Houston Ballet's community outreach program. Houston Ballet performs Aladdin from Feb. 20 through Mar. 2 at Wortham Theater Center in downtown Houston.

Houston Ballet's performances of Aladdin continue through March 2, 2014. For tickets call 713 227 2787 or 1 800 828 ARTS. Tickets are also available at www.houstonballet.org and Houston Ballet Box Office at Wortham Theater Center in downtown Houston.
