Carolines on Broadway, America's Premier Comedy Nightclub, announces its all-star line-up of talent for the month of May 2010, highlighted by headliners CHARLIE MURPHY, from Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show" and the films "King's Ransom" and "Roll Bounce," who will host "Charlie Murphy's Crash Comedy," May 6 - 9; John Witherspoon, from "The Wayans Bros.," the "Friday" films, "Boomerang" and Cartoon Network's "The Boondocks," May 13 - 16; PAUL MOONEY, from Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show," his Showtime specials "Jesus Was Black" and "Paul Mooney: It's the End of the World," and Spike Lee's "Bamboozled," May 13 - 16 and May 27 - 30; Gilbert Gottfried, from Sirius XM Radio's "The Howard Stern Show," the film "The Aristocrats" and his CD / DVD "Dirty Jokes," May 20; TODD BARRY, from HBO's "Flight of the Conchords" and the film "The Wrestler," May 20 - 23; Susie Essman, from HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," ABC's "The View" and the animated feature film "Bolt," May 22; and DONNELL RAWLINGS, "Ashy Larry" from Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show" and from HBO's "The Wire" and E!'s "Chelsea Lately," Memorial Day Weekend, May 27 - 30.

Carolines on Broadway's theme nights for the month of May are CAROLINES NEW TALENT on May 3, 10, and 17; the CLASS CLOWNS on May 4, 11, 18 and 25; the BREAKOUT ARTIST COMEDY SERIES featuring Carmen Lynch (May 4), Joe List (May 11), Josh Spear (May 18) and Colin Jost (May 25); BOB DIBUONO'S CHARACTER FLAWED on May 5; CAROLINES PRESENTS on May 6, 7, 9, 21 and 23; ED LOVER AND FRIENDS, hosted by Power 105.1 FM's Ed Lover, on May 12; DARLENE VIOLETTE'S STAND-UP RELAPSE on May 19; THE GREG CHARLES STAND-UP EXPLOSION, hosted by Greg Charles with music by DJ Wiz, on May 19; and COMEDYSMACK'S COMEDY SMACKDOWN on May 26.

Other events taking place at Carolines on Broadway in May are AFTERBIRTH, featuring performances by Caroline Rhea, Kevin Meaney, Tom Shillue, Dan Bucatinsky, Chuck Nice, Bonnie McFarlane and Dani Klein Modisett, on May 5; STAND-UP FOR MADELINE: A BENEFIT FOR THE OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION (OCRF) featuring Joy Behar, Susie Essman, James Smith, Robert Smigel, Pam Ann, and more, on May 11; CABERATION: A BENEFIT FOR THE INNOVATIVE THEATRE FOUNDATION on May 17; and FUNNY FOR FIDO, a benefit for homeless animals, on May 24.
