This feel-good Pops Series Concert is the first performance of the 2017-2018 season, World Tour: A Musical Voyage Around the Globe, and will transport audiences on a journey through some of the best disco hits of the 1970s.

Complete with bell-bottoms, stylin' afros, wild polyester costume changes and platform shoes, Classical Night Fever will feature guest artist Motor Booty Affair, a popular '70s disco/funk tribute band that has performed alongside some the Northeast's top orchestras including the Portland Symphony Orchestra, the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and the Maine Pro Musica Orchestra. The exciting performance will feature popular disco-era hits including Get Down Tonight, Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now, Love's Theme/Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Dancin' Queen, Car Wash, Stayin' Alive/You Should Be Dancin' and many more!

"Motor Booty Affair has received rave reviews and will kick off the 2017-2018 season with an energetic show that highlights the majesty of the Symphony while keeping audiences dancing in their seats," said Lawrence Golan, music director and conductor of the York Symphony Orchestra.
