Salute to Vienna celebrates more than 20 years of New Year's concerts, rounding off the holiday season with entertaining, light-hearted performances in 24 North American cities this year. More than 40,000 concert-goers will party like it's 1899 between December 29 and January 3, when Salute to Vienna will kick off 2017 in the 80-year old tradition of Vienna's world famous "Neujahrskonzert". A Salute to Vienna: Recorded for Public Television

Salute to Vienna returned to the city of its inspiration for a full-house performance at

Vienna's Konzerthaus, co-hosted by internationally-renowned mezzo-soprano, Frederica von Stade and Academy Award-winning actor, Maximilian Schell. This made-for-public-television concert features more than 130 performers, including the Symphony Orchestra of the Volksoper, Vienna, The Vienna Boys Choir, world-renowned singers, and dancers from the Association Vienna State Opera Ballet.
