Chamber Music Society 10th Anniversary Gala Moved To Fall 2018 In response to the news announced last week regarding Leonard Slatkin's heart bypass surgery, the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis (CMMSL) has decided to postpone their 10th Anniversary Gala "Notes From Hollywood - The Sequel", originally scheduled for May 21, until the fall in order to keep the original program centered around Slatkin. Executive and Artistic Director Marc Gordon explains, "It is simply out of the question to try to replace Leonard Slatkin for a program with music that revolves around him and his stories/experiences related to the music on our program." The new date for the gala will be decided and then announced after Slatkin is out of the hospital and recovering. VIP and concert only tickets will be honored for the rescheduled gala date.

CMMSL will now utilize the May 21 date as a free "Thank You" concert for everyone who has purchased or does purchase a ticket in support of the Gala. Invitations will be issued to Gala sponsors, VIP ticket holders, concert only ticket holders and vendors to show their appreciation for the collective loyalty and support. Tickets for the rescheduled Gala can be pre-ordered on their website.

CMSSL's 2018-2019 season subscriptions are on sale now through their website and information is available online or by phone at 314-941-6309.
