The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) presents Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, a concert experience featuring all-new musical arrangements from the popular video game franchise. Led by prolific video game music conductor, orchestrator and Baltimore native Susie Benchasil Seiter, the BSO's performance on May 1, 2015 at 8 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall will be accompanied by exciting visuals on a giant screen. Produced by Princeton Entertainment, Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions explores how the franchise has evolved over the past two decades, taking audiences on a powerful musical retrospective through the games' most memorable melodies.
The premiere of Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions in Washington D.C. sold out with a second performance added by popular demand. An additional performance at the Mann in Philadelphia drew 5,000 plus attendees. She hails from Baltimore, where her early interests in choir and piano gave roots to her now thriving career in the music industry.
