Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra to Join ONE DIME AT A TIME; Funds Support TASTE OF MUSIC

By:

The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra has been selected by Whole Foods Market for the "One Dime at Time" program. Funds generated through this program will help to support the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra's Taste of Music program, which brings fresh, local music and music education to farmers markets throughout Southeast Michigan.

When you shop at either of the Ann Arbor Whole Foods locations January through March bring in your own shopping bags! At the cash register you can choose to donate the ten cent per bag refund to the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra for the Taste of Music program.

Taste of Music is a free program supported by the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. Taste of Music provides a performance by a small group of professional musicians, an Instrument Petting Zoo for kids of all ages, and free concert tickets for food assistance program participants at your local farmers market. Taste of Music has visited Dearborn, Wayne, Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Brighton and other farmers markets around Southeast Michigan.

Our 2015 Taste of Music schedule will be announced soon. Visit our website for more information and updates.
