GOLD COAST CITY, Australia - From the author of the sensational page-turner "The Woman with the Scarlet Shoes" comes another riveting novel that brilliantly weaves elements of both fantasy and realism. "Howl of the Syracuse Wolf" (published by Xlibris AU) is author Stephen Charles James's newest book that takes readers into the chaotic underworld of power and crime through the adventures of a new hero across exotic African landscapes.

A failed love motivates Michael Vincent, an unlikely young Australian to seek solace in the Zanzibar archipelago, a majestic natural marvel just off East Africa's coast. But just as Michael was beginning to enjoy his new-found peace, an unexpected turn of events leads him and his friends to a discovery that will hurl them into a world of unimaginable peril. Behind the picturesque beaches of Zanzibar lies an ugly underworld where criminals fester in abundance. This truth sets the story in motion, following the heroes onboard luxury yacht combats and culminating into a zigzag chase across the ruggedness of Africa's heartland.

The unpredictable plot is brilliantly patch-worked with excitement, drama, humor, descriptive passages and soars in emotional highs and lows, while keeping the reader demanding more, and guessing from page to page. This book's climaxing story-line contains a fresh new style of word graphics with a continuous smooth flow, an easy-to-follow dialogue interspersed with clever humor. This is polished with the author's outstanding literary craftsmanship which boils with truth as it mirrors alarmingly real social issues.

"Entertaining an audience with storytelling from my own imaginative heart has always been a huge passion of mine," says James. "I want readers to be exhilarated, inspired, stimulated and invigorated. They will also learn and expand internally. My main core objective is simply for a reader to be extremely happy that they invested their time wisely, by reading my work."

With the grit of a flexible writer and a one-of-a-kind storyteller, the "Howl of the Syracuse Wolf" offers one unforgettable, high-quality literary adventure.
