According to Pamela Larocque, she was told through a channeling session with a medium that she would be writing books and would be helping others who have gone through what she endured and help them understand pregnancy and infant loss. She was also told that she would bring a spiritual ideation to society and parents who have lost their babies and children. All of these resulted in her book "Ryken's Journey" (published by Balboa Press in July of 2016).

Set for a new marketing campaign, the book is Larocque's true story based on the exact events that took place during her second son's brief life as he was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called non-ketotic hyperglycinemia and living in the moment with gratitude to have a healthy child to love and parent. It brings a message to inspire hope and healing for those that are searching for answers like she was.

On a spiritual level, this book is part of Larocque's life purpose and she has set out on a quest to fulfill her own soul contract in this lifetime. She is determined to learn her own life lessons and pass on the wisdom she has gained so others can heal as well.

"If we release the inner pain, embrace our strength from the lesson, and then our healing will begin. In order to heal, it is important to embrace our life circumstances and acknowledge what we are feeling," Larocque says. "When we walk through our grief with supports in place, we can find the pathways of love, joy and acceptance. This is how we can find our own inner light again and allow it to shine forth in the world."
