In "The Choice: Was It All Worth It?" (published by AuthorHouse), author Lost Lenny's new novel, readers join Lester Nilsson as he tries to find his footing during his first semester teaching.

"This book dares talk about the taboos that other writers shy away from, such as drinking by teachers and students, what can go on at a high school dance, the frustrations that young teachers face, teenagers hormones and many, many others," says Lost Lenny.

After graduating college, Lester Nilsson landed a job teaching industrial arts in a small country school. But no amount of teaching would have prepared him for the problems and frustration that his first semester brought with it. With each flip of the page, readers will be shocked and awed at the troubles Lester encounters. Through funny and awkward moments, Lost Lenny knows readers will come away feeling entertained.

An excerpt from "The Choice":

"Suddenly, the yellow blur of the school bus moves past him. The distraction causes the young man to look up until he can see a black rear bumper, then a yellow emergency door. His eyes continue rising and stop at the window where two offending fingers are being thrust at him."
