Kathy Shi Releases THE MISSION OF STEALING HEART

Kathy Shi releases her new science fiction book "The Mission of Stealing Heart" (published by Archway Publishing). This novel tells a unique love story of male hero Allen with his wife Tracy, lover Kathy and a black bear Jack having the strangest journey transcending all known frontiers.

The author describes folded worlds; worlds interlocking through different dimensions. People can merge positive and negative powers to travel through wormholes of the universe going from past world, netherworld and future world. The story starts from Manhattan in December 23, 2015, goes to Paris in 1925, then to incredible Netherworld, NY in 2119 and Yunan, Guangxi in China and finally returns to NY in December 25, 2015. Readers meet Coco Chanel, a powerful The Master of elements, the black bear Jack who lives in China during Qing Dynasty, transcending to a bunch of people mastering robots living in NY 2119, and ghosts in Netherworld.

The story also describes life as an emerging cycle lasting forever, after each death, life mutates to a different life status such as human evolving from animal, worm or rock. The world is not restricted only to the human world, the Netherworld exists; it is an invisible world until you merge positive and negative energies. The power surge is the result from positive and negative energy merging into universal love, thus people can use its power by elevating themselves into a travel across the universe. What happened to Kathy? Why does she want to steal heart? Will she succeed? In the year 2119, what does New York City look like? What does the Netherworld look like?

The real writer are the male and female heroes of the story, they lead her to write automatically as driven by an uncontrollable passion. She said the story of her recurring dream in which she was able to visualize all characters' actions with remarkable clarity. At each moment, she can see them, hear them, and feel their presence, as if they would be in the same room with her. Meanwhile, a voice is telling her to tell her story to everybody.

She is a woman of deep faith and spirituality, enjoying the study and exploration of Buddhist teachings. In August 2015, her first collection of poems, "New York Bloody Rose," was published in China.
