David Remarke, a retired construction worker, has completed his new book "Demons": a gripping and potent story of wicked spirits and unspeakable secrets.

When asked to describe the book, Remarke stated "Modern day supernatural story that has ties into the past. The message is to have an open mind about the unknown, always keep your faith, and that's it's ok to be afraid just don't let your fear control your life. The living characters are everyday people faced with a terrible problem, there are several different types of un-living characters some good and some very evil."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, David Remarke's poignant tale makes for a riveting paranormal mystery novel. This shadowy and exhilarating story will have its readers on the edge of their seats with each page.

The two families had kept the secrets of the old temple and graveyard site hidden deep in a swamp, in southern Louisiana for over one-hundred and fifty years. It was a secret that was passed on from generation to generation. The two families had paid a heavy price for keeping the secrets from the outside world. A chance meeting in a bar in New Orleans between a ghost finder's reality show and an old timer sets things in motion. The old timer told them a story about an old haunted graveyard in the middle of a swamp and that terrible things have happened there in the past and the family that owns the land guards the secrets of the graveyard.

The group decides to see for themselves and head to a small family farm outside of Church Point Louisiana; where they run into a small town sheriff and his deputy who tried to convince the group that the stories they heard were nothing more than old wives tales and shouldn't be believed. They don't take the sheriffs advice and shortly after arriving at the farm they awaken a very old demon that has been trapped there for over a hundred and fifty years and they discover for themselves that sometimes secrets should remain secrets. The sheriff's deputy teams up with local college professor to try to destroy the demon and in doing so they discover the true secrets of the swamp and graveyard.

Readers who wish to experience this chilling work can purchase "Demons" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
