Chrissie Betlach Vinje Releases 'What Now!'

Author Chrissie Betlach Vinje gives readers a glimpse into what life was like after they were handed a fatal diagnosis of her husband's glioblastoma brain tumor. "What Now!" (published by Balboa Press) chronicles their intense journey while illuminating their love story.

Everything was going perfectly until Tom Vinje's illness struck out of nowhere. In this book, a wife lovingly remembers her husband and shares their story through a compilation of journal entries. She recounts their family's journey into an extremely dark period, letting readers witness the triumphs and heartbreaks associated with an insidious disease that is brain cancer. She gives glimpses and outright dissertations of the grief, despair and pain of losing her husband at such a young age. She also let them feel the energy of camaraderie, love, faith and hope as people come together in support, empathy and compassion.

About the Author
Chrissie Betlach Vinje grew up in Anoka, Minnesota, the oldest of six children. When she graduated from high school, instead of going to college, she went to work full time in the automotive industry as the switchboard operator, parts and service cashier and warranty clerk. Working her way up the dealership clerical ladder, she became an office manager in 1989. In 1995, she went to work for the Luther family of dealerships at Downtown Pontiac Jaguar in Minneapolis where she met her husband, Tom. She left Luther's in 2012 and currently works for the Morrie's Automotive Group. "What Now!" is her first book.
