Kristin Chenoweth to Perform Live in Concert at QPAC, June 14

By:

Kristin Chenoweth, the shining star of stage and screen, will put a spell on you when she performs for one night only, on Friday 14 June 2013 at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).

The uniquely talented, Emmy and Tony Award winner will share her triumphs and tragedies when she performs with an 11 piece band in QPAC's Concert Hall.

In her first tour outside of the United States, Kristin will showcase music from her Broadway, television and film careers, including but not limited to her most loved songs from Wicked, GLEE and LES MISERABLES along with some personal favourites, time-honoured greats and entertaining surprises.

"I have never been to Australia and I am so looking forward to it! I have heard about so many great places to visit while I am there and I am especially looking forward to meeting my fans!

"I am even bringing my parents on this tour with me for their 50th wedding anniversary. They are so excited to see Australia and looking forward to the experience," said Kristin.

Kristin received rave reviews while starring in hit drama The West Wing as Annabeth Schott and in ABC's (USA) Pushing Daisies, where she received an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Kristin also captured the hearts of fans during her appearances in Fox's GLEE, where she played a former student who comes back to help re-energize the Glee club. Along with her TV highlights, she is the darling of Broadway and is arguably best known for her triumphant role as Glinda the Good Witch in the original Broadway production of WICKED, which earned her a Tony Award nomination.

The Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee, effortlessly transitions between stage, television and film with the captivating grace that only she can project.
