October marks 21 years since Kevin McKenzie's appointment to the role of Artistic Director of American Ballet Theatre and to coincide with tickets going on sale this Monday for their exclusive Brisbane season, he shares why this season is not to be missed.

Recognised as one of America's living National Treasures, American Ballet Theatre (ABT) are the third presentation in the QPAC International Series, a joint initiative with Tourism and Events Queensland to bring the world's finest performing arts companies to Brisbane.

The American Ballet Theatre (ABT) makes its way to Australia for the first time ever to perform exclusively in QPAC's Lyric Theatre from 28 August to 7 September 2014.

The ABT will be performing two productions with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) during this exclusive season: Swan Lake choreographed by ABT Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie; and a triple bill featuring works by three of the greatest choreographers of the modern era: Jerome Robbins, Twyla Tharp and Alexei Ratmansky.
