Closing their 2015 theater season, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater (WHAT) presents Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story, with book, music and lyrics by Stephen Doginoff. Thrill Me is a musical theatrical event that recounts the chilling, true story of the legendary duo who committed one of the most infamous and heinous crimes of the twentieth century. Focusing on their obsessive relationship and utilizing Leopold's 1958 parole hearing as a framework, Thrill Me reveals the series of events in 1924 Chicago that led about-to-be law students Leopold and Loeb to be forever remembered as "the thrill killers." Thrill Me runs tonight, October 24 through November 8 at WHAT.

Directed by Jeffry George, Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story stars Adam Berry and Ben Berry, with Music Director & pianist John Thomas.

"Addiction comes in many forms," George said. "Here on the Cape the forerunner could arguably be drug addiction, but throughout time and around the globe one could argue that love retains the title. Thrill Me: the Leopold and Loeb Story looks at the crime of the century from inside the hearts and minds of two young men who simply could not stop themselves from seeking superman (Nietzsche) status. It's no secret the physical toll addiction takes on the body, but we must never forget the impact it has on the mental health of the addict, and on their respective loved ones. It is with this in mind that Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater chose to present this work."
