Company of Fools' (COF) 23rd theatre season continues in late August with the production of Heisenberg, a sharply original play directed by COF founding member Denise Simone and written by the visionary playwright Simon Stephens, winner of the 2015 Tony Award for Best New Play for his dramatic adaptation of Mark Haddon's novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. COF's production of Heisenberg will open Tuesday, Aug. 28, and runs through Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.

Summer productions have adults playing age appropriate roles unlike their after-school theater arts program which runs Sep-Jun. It's a great way to give children the opportunity to perform with adults, artists in the community the chance to see what CYT is all about and sometimes whole families perform together!

Under the Streetlamp is coming to the Morrison Center for a live, one-night-only performance on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Featuring former leading cast members of hit Broadway musicals including 'JERSEY BOYS,' Under the Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of the American Radio Songbook from the 1950s-1970s. Their shows feature tight harmonies and slick dance moves that take audiences back to an era of sharkskin suits, flashy cars and martini shakers. A flashback to a time when, on hot summer nights, people would gather under a streetlamp to sing their favorite rock and roll songs.

While next season's Play Reading Series is still in development, COF is pleased to announce The Agitators as part of the series. "We are excited to share these stories as COF begins a new chapter.
