TELEMUNDO today announced the network's Monday-Friday primetime ratings in 2015 were the highest in its history among total viewers (1.67M, +9% vs. 2014) and adults 18-49 (828K, +9% vs. last year), according to Nielsen. This year, the network gained more total viewers (+144,000), adults 18-49 (+71K) and adults 18-34 (+40K) versus the prior year than any other Spanish-language broadcast network. For the third consecutive year, TELEMUNDO's Spanish-language network share has increased among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, up +7 points vs. 2014 to 36 and 35 percent, respectively.

 Bravo Media's Emmy Award-winning “Inside the Actors Studio,” hosted by James Lipton, presents a hilarious and heartwarming episode with Academy Award-nominated actor Steve Carell on Thursday, December 17 at 8pm ET/PT.  Lipton welcomes the multi-faceted talent in celebration of his performance in the true-life drama, “The Big Short,” where Carell plays Mark Baum, a money manager who shorted subprime mortgages during the housing and credit bubbles in 2008. With awards season underway, “The Big Short” has just been nominated for two Screen Actors Guild Awards and four Golden Globe Awards ®, including a nomination for Carell in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category for his portrayal of Mark Baum. This marks his eighth Golden Globe Award nomination and the first in this category. The film hits theaters in New York and Los Angeles on Friday, December 11th and nationwide on December 23rd.

Telemundo announced today that acclaimed Mexican journalist Felicidad Aveleyra will be joining Noticias Telemundo as a presenter and reporter. The addition of Aveleyra to the network's news team comes at a time of audience growth and expanded programming in preparation for the upcoming US presidential elections, which are of critical interest to the Hispanic community.

George Takei has taken to YouTube to respond Donald Trump's comments on Muslim immigration, inviting the 2016 Republican Presidential hopeful to take in his new Broadway show, ALLEGIANCE. Takei captioned the video: 'Donald Trump recently said he might have supported the internment camps of WWII. I felt I had to respond, and in the best way I could.'

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett will make a special live appearance from his concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2016." Buffett will bring everyone to a "Margaritaville" state of mind as he performs his timeless song right after the ball drops at midnight, ringing in the start of 2016. The full evening will include over 38 performances and five-and-a-half hours of music. America's biggest celebration of the year will take place on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 beginning at 8 p.m., EST/PST, on the ABC Television Network.

During the week of November 23, 2015, “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” grew for the 2nd-consecutive week in Households (+11% - 3.1 rating vs. 2.8 rating), Total Viewers (+11% - 4.060 million vs. 3.671 million) and Women 25-54 (+7% - 1.5 rating vs. 1.4 rating) to deliver new season highs. In fact, “LIVE” matched its highest-rated week since March in Homes and since April among Women 25-54 while also drawing its largest weekly audience since April – since the weeks of 3/2/15, 4/6/15 and 4/6/15, respectively.

NBC's Sunday Night Football presents a showdown of AFC playoff contenders this week when QB Tom Brady and the first-place New England Patriots (10-2, AFC East) host DE J.J. Watt and the tied-for-first-place Houston Texans (6-6, AFC South) at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, this Sunday, Dec. 13, at 8:30 p.m. ET. Coverage begins with Football Night In America – the most-watched weekly studio show in sports – at 7 p.m. ET.

The animated series 'The Lion Guard' will premiere FRIDAY, JANUARY 15 (9:30 a.m., EST/PST) on Disney Channel and encore throughout the weekend on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. Its story – introduced last month in a Disney Channel movie which posted commanding ratings among Kids 2-5 and Total Viewers – continues the 'The Lion King' epic. It follows the adventures of Kion, the second-born cub of Simba and Nala, and his diverse group of friends, each with a unique skill, as they unite to protect the Pride Lands.

Fourth-place Manchester United visit Bournemouth this Saturday, Dec. 12, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and NBC UNIVERSO, highlighting NBC Sports Group's Premier League coverage this weekend. Manchester United come off a goalless draw against West Ham, and will look for crucial points against an improving Bournemouth this weekend. The Red Devils are only three points behind first-place Leicester City. Bournemouth were able to take themselves out of the bottom three with a 1-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last Saturday, featuring a goal from Glenn Murrayin the 82nd minute.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES delivered its largest audience since March and its best adults 18-49 rating since its sixth season finale in May, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Monday, Dec. 7.

With its Charlie Brown Christmas specials and the premiere of “The Great Holiday Baking Show,” ABC took second in Adults 18-49 (1.6/5) to NBC, beating drama lineups on CBS by 23% (1.3/4) and Fox by 33% (1.2/4 – fall finales of “Gotham”/”Minority Report”).  The Net won the night among Kids 2-11, with “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (2.1/9) and “It's Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown” (1.8/6) as the night's Top 2 shows, respectively.

Production began this week in San Diego for the second season of ABC Family's hit series, “Monica the Medium,” a one-hour unscripted series about Monica Ten-Kate, a college student who has the gift of speaking to the dead. The upcoming season finds Monica and her best friend Krista moving to San Diego. Produced by Dave Caplan's Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate TV, the second season will premiere in 2016. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016.

Justin Chatwin and Megan Ketch have joined the cast of AMERICAN GOTHIC, a new one-hour murder mystery series from Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television and CBS Television Studios, to be broadcast in summer 2016.

 Following the announcement of Humberto Zurita, Ludwika Paleta and Michel Brown as the stars of the upcoming Super Series “La Querida del Centauro,” TELEMUNDO partnered with popular social media site Facebook to launch the first trailer of the much-anticipated Super Series slated for premiere on January 12th.
