Southern California's Chief White Lightning (Joshua Logan) is stoked to announce the Pinche Summer Tour, which will see his band headline a mix of intimate yet rowdy house, bar and club shows.  The sixteen-city run kicks-off onJuly 6th in Costa Mesa before making its way up the West Coast to Seattle and wrapping in Logan's hometown of Austin, TX at The Mohawk on July 27th.  News of the tour closely follows this month's announcement of the band's debut full-length album – Chief White Lightning – which is due out July 13th via El Camino Media.

According to Variety, Kenya Barris and Pharrell Williams will collaborate on a stage musical about Juneteenth, the African-American holiday honoring the date that U.S. Army ships forced Texas landowners to free the last of their slaves. It is viewed as the last day of slavery in the United States.

The Growlers take their swirling psychedelic carnival on the road this fall, bringing their Beach Goth Tour 2018 across America and into the hearts, minds, and concert halls of several lucky European cities. YouTube announced that it has acquired the highly-anticipated music documentary G FUNK, which recounts the untold story of hip-hop's most iconic subgenre through its pioneer, Warren G. G FUNK explores the sound's origination and lasting impact on music and culture. The film also chronicles Warren G's journey with Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg during the early 90s, as they rose to international fame while he returned to Long Beach, California without a record deal. The G FUNK documentary will premiere exclusively on YouTube Premium on July 11, 2018.

Twenty-three year-old Toronto born, Los Angeles based artist Jessie Munro has been mesmerizing audiences worldwide, with her stunning soulful vocals and sleek, modern-electro R&B/pop.
