On April 20, 2013, the doors of nearly 50 museums and art venues will stay open all night and hold over 200 special events as part of Dusseldorf's 13th 'Night of the Museums.'

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the line-up for the 2013 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, March 7-17, 2013 at the Addison Theatre and Conference Centre. Several changes highlight this year's Festival including a focus on Dallas-area artists, more performances of each show, many new artists, as well as a few returning favorites. The Festival will include, for the first time, opera, as well as dance, theatre, cabaret artists and visual arts, and a play produced by WaterTower Theatre.

On March 10, the Ware Center/Millersville University Lancaster showcases "Downtown Dances: Steps in Time." The showcase is a collection of performances by dozens of dancers from nine local dance studios in eleven new pieces by local and regional modern, contemporary and jazz choreographers.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents Pulitzer Prize-finalist SARAH RUHL's critically praised play EURYDICE, directed by ANW Producing Artistic Director Geoff Elliott, opening Saturday, March 16 and closing Sunday, May 19, 2013 (previews begin Saturday, March 9). With beautifully spare and poetic imagery, Ruhl retells the classic Greek myth of Orpheus through the eyes of his new wife who plunges into the underworld and finds herself torn between deep devotion to her late father and love for her husband. Bay Street Theatre has announced its upcoming Spring School Vacation Kids Camp, March 25-29.. The camp is for students age 8 through 12, and runs from 9am - 3 pm each day at the Bay Street Theatre. Cost is $385 for the five-day camp per child.

Sundance Institute has announced that playwright and Sundance Institute Theatre Lab alum Branden Jacobs-Jenkins will receive the first-ever Tennessee Williams Award from the Institute's Theatre Program, which supports the development of new work for the stage. The OBIE Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) -- now in its 23rd season of presenting classics and new works performed by Asian American actors -- will present August Strindberg's A DREAM PLAY in a new adaptation by Sung Rno and Andrew Pang, directed by Mr. Pang, with previews set to begin March 22 prior to an official opening night of March 27 at HERE, 145 Sixth Avenue (entrance on Dominick, 1 Block South of Spring).

Red Branch Theatre Company will kick off its fifth season with a two-night cabaret celebration on March 15 and 16. Red Branch Company Members and area performers will present selections from all of the company's past musicals while also providing a preview of the upcoming season. Fine food and beverages will be served before the performance and between acts, and a silent auction will be held on both days to benefit the company's annual operating budget.
